Lullaby covers of Radiohead songs

Yikes! Would you play this for your baby?

These versions of Radiohead are sophisticated enough for people of all ages, but sweet enough to introduce your child to rock’s smartest band. Their album Kid A imagines the scope and power of music created by a newborn child. What will your baby dream about while drifting off to these serene interpretations of Radiohead’s best-loved songs?

I’d say: an icy future where food is scarce and carnivorous mice are everywhere. That’s just a guess.

Childhood is terrifying enough already, don’t you think?

  1. that got me curious… snj

  2. I love it! Radiohead music can actually be quite pretty. I used to play Silverchair’s Diorama when the kids were going to sleep at the centre I worked @ in Sydney 🙂 They loved it; no more stupid lullabies… some lullabies are scarier than Radiohead I reckon! …when the bough breaks, the cradle will fall… la la la la la

  3. Great link! Some of those, I do wonder what on Earth they were thinking… The Nirvana one would give *me* nightmares! Very eerie.

But I probably wouldn’t mind raising a child on Pixies lullabies 🙂
