Good Reason

It's okay to be wrong. It's not okay to stay wrong.

Action Item: Protest 7

Everyone should be kicking up a stink about this.

Call Seven right now and demand they pull ‘Path to 9/11’. (I phoned earlier tonight.)

Why bother? The show is riddled with factual errors, not the least of which is that it deflects blame from Bush, and blames the Clinton Administration for the attacks. More here.

In the USA, this is being fought out vigourously, but here in Australia, it’s flying under the radar. Don’t let it.

  1. One again my democratic party is missing the mark here. It is a perfect chance to talk about the concrete steps that Clinton did take to try and stop/kill Osama backdroped with the complete inaction taken by Bush against the man who is actually responsable for 9/11. Clinton may have missed a few times but at least he was trying. Don’t waste time defending Clinton, take the conversation straight to the lack of response by Bush at a time when this should have been his main focus and instead he decided to spend our military wealth on a bunch of his friends pet theory of global domination (militarily and financialy).

  2. I agree that the goal is to focus on Bush. But Republicans are trying to protect their Lord and Master. Blaming it on the Clenis is the best hope they’ve got, and that avenue needs to be shut down.

  3. They are going to have thier show. So rather than make it thier talking points (dems scrambling to defend Clinton and looking like born again censors in the process) Keep hammering away at how Clinton WAS actually trying to take out Osama and how Bush has droped the ball, over and over again. This has to be a referendum on Bush. You can actually see the cons snicker everytime a lib falls into the trap of simply trying to defend Clinton. The headline I want to read isn’t “Was the Clinton administration at fault?” I want “Why is Osama, The man responsable for 9/11, still at large.”

  4. Having said that…Yes vigoursly decry the lies being told at every oportunity.
