It’s almost Passover time again, so that means Jehovah’s Witnesses are coming around. And that means it’s a good time to remind us all that:
1) Bible believers are, of necessity, apologists for genocide, and
2) religion doesn’t make people more moral. If anything, it turns normal moral people into amoral robots.
Verbatim, by the way.

I applaud your blog awesome graphics.
Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs:
A) They are at your door to recruit you for enslavement to their watchtower corporation, they will say that "we are just here to share a message from the Bible" this is deception right off.
B) Their 'message' is a false Gospel that Jesus had his second coming in 1914.The problem with this is it's not just a cute fairy tale,Jesus warned of the false prophets who would claim "..look he is here in the wilderness,or see here he is at the temple."
C) Their anti-blood transfusion ban has killed hundreds if not thousands
D) once they recruit you they will "love bomb" you in cult fashion to also recruit your family & friends or cut them off.
There are many more dangers,Jehovah's Witnesses got a bad rap for good and valid reasons.
99% of the world has rejected the teachings of the Watchtower Jehovahs Witnesses, the darker truth is they are a destructive and oppressive organization.

But doesnt the main bible follow most of the same or similar teachings anyways? It cant be a false gospel because it is in the current original bible.

once my friend and I were doing landscaping at a Jehovah witness church (for pay) and I asked to use there rest room. They refused, I said "only the select few get in to the bathroom too?" then proceeded to walk out the door to a visible from the inside section of the exterior wall and pissed until I was done, unstopped.

I cant really see the difference between atheists and religious people, there are bad atheists and bad religious people. The only thing I see is that we are incapable of respecting one another or our values.

Luis, MOST atheist won't try to force you to follow their beliefs, they want you to think for yourself. I don't think you will get the same consideration from most religious people.

I agree that most people are moral. What that really tells us is that religion, far from being a moral force (as religious people like to claim), is actually kind of irrelevant to morality.
It can, however, muck with people's natural moral tendencies and replace them with something totally twisted, as I think is the case with these people.

This works for me. Everyone ask the first question, "Is there a god ?" But the second question almost never gets asked. If this god does exist, is this deity worthy of my (or anyone's) worship?
And as bad as all that livestock and baby killing in the old testament, At least when god killed you in that book, he was through with you. In holy bible two point oh, you're punished forever.
So what crime is so awful that it warrants a forever ? All of them apparently. But there is a get out of jail free card. Acceptance and belief.
Which brings us to the only "crime" that isn't forgivable. Denying the holy spirit. Right, kill, rape, lie cheat and steal. Get your appeal in before the deadline, and all is good. But being honest with yourself, no getting around that.
I want nothing to do with this kind of "value."
