"Who names their kid Newton?" Someone who thought that the advancement of human understanding of the universe was really, really good and deserved to be celebrated even at the expense of naming trendiness. Someone like Daniel?
I like the idea of him being called 'Newt', and thinking about Karol Capek's book 'The War with the Newts' at the same time.
I have an acquaintance whose son is called Darwin so I assumed she was a evolutionary atheist but it turned out that she was a Christian who had conceived in Australia. Disappointing.

Yeah, I liked him a little bit more when I realised his name was Newton.
But Oldest Son was not as impressed. Kids.

Darwin could be a great name for a kid! Or it could be terrible.
At least she didn't have to call him Adelaide. Or conceive in Wagga Wagga.
