ThinkProgress notes John McCain’s claim that he’s never changed his mind.
MCCAIN: You’ll have to tell me what’s changed. I love it when they say, “Oh McCain has changed.” And I say, “What have I changed on?” They can’t name a single issue or they’ll name an issue and its false. I’m the same guy. I’m proud of our campaign.
In fact, ThinkProgress has listed 44 issues that McCain has flip-flopped on, from torture to taxes to energy.
I don’t mind if someone learns more and changes their views on something. McCain should be doing that every day. But to do this many 180’s and then claim you haven’t is delusional.
Add Palin into the equation, and what do you get?

Think Progress? Isn’t that like quoting the National Enquirer? I’m not a huge fan of McCain either, but I think it’s funny to see how Dems are using the Kerry tactic that the GOP used four years ago. John Kerry is the Flip Flopper. That was his political brand.

There have been two schools of thought going around the lefty blogosphere:
1) We’re better than those scumbags.
2) Turnabout is fair play.
While 1) is more noble, and we’re seeing more of it now that Obama is ahead, I do admit that it’s fun to engage in 2). And who would deserve that more than the Republican in the race. So take that, GOP. Welcome to the hell of your own creation and so forth.
