The ‘Daniel’ handwriting font has been spotted in the opening titles for ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures’, the new Doctor Who spinoff.
Commentor ‘dobbins’, I hope you are duly impressed, since you introduced me to the Dr all those years ago, and now this.
My handwriting looks rather good floating through space. They’ve added the top bar on the ‘J’ and a spur on the ‘n’, but that’s the font, all right. Seems everyone modifies it, which is fine, but it could mean I need to take it back to the workshop for some refinement.
Let’s see. I’ve done movies, books, posters, and now TV. Where will my handwriting turn up next? Life on earth is an adventure, indeed.

That’s fantastic! You’re practically a celebrity now…
SJ was always my favourite companion of the Doctor ;P

Do you know these places?
Thanks.
I have used the Daniel font on quite a few things now.

Oh man. Why does everything good have to be on a Monday night? I’ve got two choirs, UWA sport (psychology) and now the latest UWA Extension brochure has come through and it seems that Mr Midgley’s “Evolution of Language” class is also on a Monday night! What about Thursdays? Has anyone considered Thursdays? There’s not much on TV that night either.

That rocks. I’m addicted to the Dr Who companion, Torchwood. I’ve only seen the teaser for SJA on the web, but I’ll probably check out the episodes soon.

This blog post was thrown up in a search on ‘Sarah Jane Adventures’. So, as a Doctor Who whom you wouldn’t otherwise have heard from, I’d just like to say this was one of the more interesting infobites to come my way this month.
I must see whether there’s room in the Wikipedia entry to included this…

And the missing word there is ‘fan’.
