Here are the links on my desktop at the moment. Maybe you could take them and build a little tower or something neat.
Girl takes a picture of herself every day for three years
This is a neat idea. A whole bunch of photos strung together as a movie. I always wanted to do this as a kid, but the cost of polaroids was prohibitive. Imagine a whole life in this way. From baby to elderly and then gone. How many days do you get anyway? Perhaps 30,000, if you’re lucky. Cue Kansas: ‘Dust in the Wind’.
A bunch of African click noises
I just did a lecture on this. Don’t you wish English had click noises? My name would be Dan!iel.
The Last Ones Standing
A article about the last remaining Shakers. Are there really only four left? Shoot, last I heard there were six. Shakerism once competed with the LDS Church (Joseph Smith mentions them in Section 49 of the Doc & Cov), but their celibacy meme (always a killer) ensured that they would wind up on the rocks and in the museum, whereas the LDS Church with its ‘replenish the earth’ meme would go on to rule the world.
The Turing Test
A CG video where AI programs compete to sound the most human. Warning: nerd humour.

I also like that [!] click. 🙂 I had a friend who could speak some language with clicks and I used to just get him to sit and talk at me in a language I didn’t understand but loved while we waited for the bus in the afternoons.

When I had my first daughter I had the idea that it would be cool to take a picture of her every day lying on her mat. Digital cameras weren’t common currency then or else I would definitely have done it …
