The translation appears to have been done automatically, word-for-word. I don’t speak Mandarin, but the comments on the page are helpful for finding out how this all went horribly wrong.

There was the famous launch of Qantas flights into China, and while working on the ads in Australia all was going well until they wanted to run some ads in chinese language papers here.
The famous by line ‘Qantas the spirit of Australia ‘was unfortunately transalatedgnfjozml as ” Qantas the ghost of Australia”.
